iPhone Setup

Setting up email on iPhone

Setting up your email account on an iPhone is pretty straight forward. It can be really frustrating if you don’t put the right information in or forget a step. The biggest problem we see is the ability to send email.

Before you begin you will need the following information

  • Username: This is the email address hosted by Castles Information Network

  • Password: Password for the email account

  • IMAP Server: imap.everyone.net  (generic IMAP server for castles.com)

  • POP Server: pop.everyone.net (generic POP server for castles.com)

  • SMTP Server: smtp.everyone.net (generic server for castles.com)

Enter account settings directly into your iPhone.

If this is the first account you’re setting up on the iPhone or the iPod Touch, tap Mail.
Otherwise, from the Home screen choose Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account.

Choose your email account type.
For setting up email to work with your Castles.com or domain mail service – Choose Other.

Select server type – IMAP  and enter account information.

Fill in your information for the Incoming Mail Server

Fill in your information for the Outgoing Server

You will see Authentication – Check Password

Tap Save to save the entered information

Upon successful completion of the mailbox you are taken back to the Mail Settings Screen.

Congratulations you have finished the mail box setup

Caution – IMAP leaves a copy of each email on the server. If you have POP set up on another device or computer, that unit will download the email off the server. If that device pulls the email, those will not be available to your IMPA device. To learn more about POP and IMAP – click here.

If you use IMAP you may find your email box getting full and incoming emails will bounce back. be sure to check your email on the server via web mail periodically – You will find the Web Mail link on the Castles.com home page. Additional email space is available – See our pricing page

Additional Help

TCGEP Designs email servers are not open relay servers. That means you have to be an authorized and approved user to access and relay an email through the server. We authenticate every user with both the full email address and the password.
